Spring-Summer 2016 : The rise of the Rose Gold!

In a world that's long been essentially black and white, a blushing shade known as rose gold has become the hot colour.

Rose gold (aka pink gold, red gold or blush gold) is the result of a combination of gold and copper.

The fashion industry has a long history with rose gold. The colour was first made popular by jewellery designers such as Cartier in the 1920s which corresponds to the early years of the Art Deco era.

We are seeing a lot of Art Deco influences in the modern trends. Metals for interiors have been getting warmer recently and rose gold is at the forefront of the trends.

Indeed, this colour is elegant, timeless and warm. It’s beautiful and unique.

Rose gold stands somewhere between luxury and fashion. It is not as extravagant as gold, or as everlasting and goes in and out of style.

However, right now it is very much back in, giving you a new colour option to express your style.

The sweet metallic pink trend is booming everywhere: Home design, fashion, jewellery, make-up, shoes, accessories and even technology. If you love it as much as I do, why not use it as an inspiration to decorate your home, brighten up your personal space or lighten up your wardrobe?

Check at my video for rose inspirations that will make you blush ! ;)
